The ‘Be my Neighbour’ project was funded by the European Union under the 'Europe for Citizens 2014-2020' program
Applicable to Axis 2, Measure 2.1 "City Twins”
The project has brought together 196 citizens, including 17 from the city of Charnay-les-Macon (France), 33 from the city of Brackenheim (Germany), 8 from the town of Tarnalelesz (Hungary), 29 from the town of Zbroslawicwe (Poland) and 109 from the town of Castagnole delle Lanze (Italy).
The meeting took place in Castagnole delle Lanze (Italy) from 05/05/2017 to 08/05/2017.
The Day of 05/05/2017 was devoted to the welcome at the meeting and to the Conference on the issue of Immigration and Integration with the presentation of reports produced by the 4 twinned countries with Castagnole and the report produced by students of the Media School “Carlo Vicari” di Damselfish.
The day of 06/05/2017 was dedicated to the visit of the ‘Arsenale della Pace’ called ‘Sermig’ in the city of Turin, with a debate with the guests of the structure, video and documentary on immigration. The day went on with the participation in the Festival of Migrations held at Castagnole delle Lanze with tasting of typical dishes and listening music of twinned countries.
The day of 07/05/2017 was devoted to religious ceremonies in the language and participation in the Festival of Migrations in Castagnole delle Lanze with the continuation of work on the theme of immigration, the reading of the ‘Decalogue’ for an international dialogue by young people generations
The day of 08/05/2017 was dedicated to the greetings of guests departing to their countries of origin.
